Winter Retreat
Freeze Out at Lake Ann
January 23-25
Thank you to everyone who signed up for winter retreat with such short notice. Unfortunately, Camp Barakel will not be hosting retreats this winter so we're headed to Lake Ann for their Freeze Out youth retreat! Please sign up as soon as you can as spots may fill up quickly.
Register:
Scroll down and click the button to register directly with Lake Ann. Once you click the link, click “register here,” then create an account. Start with “2026 Freeze Out” and continue to follow the prompts—it’s pretty straightforward. Be sure to select the correct dates (Session 2: January 23–25) and choose the right church – Immanuel Bible (Saginaw). Scholarships are available (see below).
Departure:
Friday January 23rd at 3:30pm.
Please arrive at the church by 3:15 PM so we can load up and depart on time.
We will stop in Cadillac at McDonald’s/Subway for dinner. Students should bring cash to purchase their own meal, or they may bring a sack dinner if they prefer.
Packing:
Your recommended packing list is as follows:
Bible
Notebook
Pen
Soap
Shampoo
Towels
Tooth brush & toothpaste
Enough clothing for 2 nights and 3 days. It will be cold, so avoid shorts and t shirts!
Be prepared for cool and snowy weather - GLOVES, WINTER COAT, SNOW PANTS, WINTER HAT, SNOW BOOTS!
Long pants or jeans
Extra socks for back-up
Closed toed shoes (tennis shoes/sneakers) for use inside the ARC
