Daniel Lenz Graduation Gift

Sunday, July 5
Daniel Lenz (the second son of Missionaries Levi & Robyn Lenz) graduated from High School this May in Papua New Guinea. He is enrolled at Ozark Technical College in Missouri and plans to pursue the Electrical Distribution Systems Lineman Apprenticeship Program. We would like to give him a graduation gift as the family’s sending church. There will be a book bag on the platform where you may contribute a graduation gift for Daniel. We will ensure that he receives them as the family will not be with us on furlough until mid to late August. Gifts will be accepted the next three Sundays (July 5th, 12th and 19th). Pray for Daniel as he starts a new journey in the USA going to school. (These gifts are graduation gifts for Daniel and are not contributions made through IBC. The gifts given will not be recorded by IBC as charitable contributions.) Please contact Grant Schutte with any questions.

Starting Point

Sunday, July 12
Starting Point is an introduction to Immanuel Bible Church for those wanting to learn more about our history and core values. It includes a luncheon following the 10:30 service (12:00pm). We welcome newcomers and anyone wanting to simply learn more about us!

Our next Starting Point is Sunday, July 12 in the Fireside Room. Please register by this Sunday, July 5 so we can arrange enough food for the luncheon.
Register: Click here to register, visit the Info Center, or contact the office.

Benevolence Roof Repair

The benevolence committee is assisting a member family with removing and replacing a damaged brick chimney with a metal one. We have a one-man contractor who does this kind of repair, but the only time he is able to is this Wednesday, July 8th. Completion of the job includes roof repair on a one-story home. We need one or two people to assist him for part of the day. If you are able to help contact Ken Streeter (989) 860-5661. Compensation is available.

Congratulations

Kris and Julie welcomed Peter Mac Ferguson into their family on Thursday, June 25! Peter was 7 lb 11 oz and 20.6 inches long. We are praying for Peter and Julie's healing, and want to congratulate the whole family!
