Sunday, August 16
Our final Summer picnic is this Sunday, August 16, at 5:00pm in the pavilion. Before the picnic, we invite you to join us at 4:30pm in the Fireside room as we pray about our pastoral search.

Hot dogs, chips, cookies, and drinks will be provided at the picnic. Bring a lawn chair or blanket if you plan to stay a while. Make a note on your calendars and bring out the whole family!

We are looking for a few people to come early (4:15pm) to help setup tables and bring food/supplies out to the pavilion. Please contact the office or sign up here if you are available to help!

Wednesday, August 19
You’re invited to attend our planning session for the remainder of the year and part of next year. We would like to hear your ideas and suggestions. Starting in September we will be meeting every third Wednesday of each month promoting a relationship with Christ, and a relaxed atmosphere of fun activities centering on relationships with others.

An event for ALL ages! Meet us at the zoo at 10:00am this Wednesday to enjoy the sights and sounds of the zoo. Pack a lunch or enjoy a treat from the concession stand! Be sure to register for this event if you need a ticket purchased.

Our Recommended Reading shelf has been re-stocked, with new book recommendations we invite you to check out! Our pastoral staff has recommended a variety of books that will help you grow in your relationship with God and live out a flourishing Christian life. Friday, August 21
Join us for an evening of food, family, fellowship, & fun as we kick off another year of youth ministry! We will provide hot dogs, s’mores and drinks, and we’d love for you to bring a dish, dessert, or snack to share – whatever you’d like.

• Who: Middle & High School Students and their families! Feel free to bring a friend!
• When: Friday, August 21st, 2026. Come any time after 4:30pm and stay as long as you like.
• Where: Fred & Kay Sebold’s Residence
• Why: To provide an opportunity for students, parents, & leaders to connect, build relationships, and celebrate the start of another year of youth ministry. Click here for more!

Graduation Sunday is coming up on Sunday, August 23! Many of the children in our nursery and children’s church ministry (preschool - 3rd grade) will be moving to a new classroom for the first time. Please check your child’s check-in sticker to confirm his or her room assignment.

Sunday, August 23
Ladies, please join us as we introduce a new Women's Ministry: Growing Together. We will hold an informational meeting on Sunday, August 23 after the second service (about 11:45am). More info will be shared soon on which room we'll meet in. Light refreshments will be provided- please sign up so we can plan for you! We ask you to complete a short survey when you attend, and we'll share more on what Growing Together is all about.

Beloved church member and supported missionary, Cheryl Euler, passed away on Sunday, July 19.
A "Celebration of Life" will be at IBC on Saturday, August 29. Visitation is at 10:00am and the service is at 12:00pm. A luncheon will follow the service.

Sunday, September 13
Parents, Awana registration is still open and we invite you to register as soon as you can so we can prepare for the fall! Awana begins on Sunday, September 13, and we will meet weekly on Sundays from 5:00-6:45pm (Please note that Awana now ends at 6:45pm). Click here to learn more about the program.

We have a great opportunity to serve our kids in Awana. Join us in ministering in the lives of kids attending our program. Here's an update on our current needs for the fall:

• Cubbies (3-4 year olds) - 1 song leader/group helper
• Sparks (5-7 year olds) - 1 female nursery attendant
• T&T (8-10 year olds) - 1 small group leader (female) and 3 small group helpers (1 female and 2 male)
• Nursery - 1 female nursery attendant

Join us for a membership class on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00 - 11:30 AM. Our Membership Class includes a three-part curriculum that covers our beliefs and activities here at Immanuel Bible Church. (Registration required)

September 4-7
Camp Barakel, one of our IBC-supported outreach ministries, is looking to fill 11 volunteer positions for Labor Day Family Camp (September 4-7). If you enjoy hands-on work in the kitchen and participating in a meaningful ministry that leads families to Christ, this may be the place for you!
Current need for Labor Day Family Camp weekend:

• WS Kitchen (4), WS Dishes (2), ES Kitchen (1), ES Dishes (4)

Wednesday, September 9
Join us for True Woman 101: Divine Design- An Eight Week Study on Biblical Womanhood! Meeting every other week over the course of the fall semester, we will use this study to equip ourselves with God's truth as it defines biblical womanhood. Hopefully, at the end of our time together, we will know how to combat what the world says we should be with who God created us to be.

• When: Every other Wednesday, beginning September 9 at 10:30am

Women at the Well is returning this fall, beginning Monday, September 14! All following meetings will be on the first Monday of the month from 6:00-8:00pm (Please note time change).

This ministry is open to all ladies of IBC, as well as any guests you'd like to bring along. Light refreshments will be served. Please register for each monthly meeting- thank you!
